Pushpagandhi Home: Providing Alternative Shelter for Abandoned Elderly
Pushpagandhi Home was established in 2008 with the aim of providing a safe and comfortable alternative shelter for destitute elderly surviving spouses who have been abandoned by their families. Over the years, the home has gained recognition for its services to the elderly and has been recognized by both the state and central government.
In 2014, the home was recognized by the State Government as licensed under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.
